HILO HATTIE ANNOUNCES NEW KONA LOCATION.

August 2017 – Hilo Hattie, The Store of Hawai‘i, is delighted to announce the opening of their latest store, in Kona, on the Big Island of Hawai‘i.

“All of us at Hilo Hattie are delighted to once again be opening a store on the Big Island,” said Donald B.S. Kang, President and Chief Executive Officer of Pomare, Ltd. “Our mission has always been to share aloha, and we couldn’t be happier about our new location.” 

The new 1,100 square-foot store will be located in the heart of Kailua-Kona village and staffed by approximately 10 employees. It will feature the very best of Hilo Hattie merchandise with an emphasis on Big Island foods.

“I look at the opening of our new store as a statement that Hilo Hattie is back and better than ever,” said Mark Storfer, Hilo Hattie’s Chief Operating Officer. “Our thanks go out to the community and the loyal shoppers who support made-in-Hawai‘i merchandise.” 

The soft opening of the store is scheduled for early September with the Grand Opening slated for mid-September. Locals and visitors are welcome. “We will provide additional information on our grand opening event and in-store specials as the date approaches,” said Mr. Storfer. “Kama’aina will continue to receive discounts of 25% on regular priced Hilo Hattie labeled fashions, 15% off other fashions and gifts and 10% Hilo Hattie label foods.”
